Here’s a little background about me and why I
have chosen this path - Over the past four years, I have helped my mom grow
a small bookkeeping business from a spare bedroom in our home to a mid
six-figure business with 2 associates in
Fairfax. I began simply doing Business Development and Marketing for the
company - bringing in our largest accounts and easily doubling the business.
Well…that was also the problem. My background and Masters degree in Finance
enabled me to help her perform bookkeeping tasks. I went from working as a
bookkeeper a few hours a week - just to help out - to doing bookkeeping 60
hours a week (including weekends) because we had so much work. My vision for
myself was never to be a bookkeeper – I have always loved Business
Development, Sales and Leadership.
